The date is official; the hour is not. Here is what PlayStation Store listings suggest for each region, and what could still change.
GTA VI launches on November 19, 2026, but Rockstar has not announced the exact hour it unlocks. What we do have are PlayStation Store listings, picked up by several outlets, that suggest a rolling release: each region unlocks at midnight local time, starting in New Zealand. Everything below the date is unofficial until Rockstar or the platforms confirm it. (Source dates below are the dates we checked them.)

The gap between the first and last region is about 19 hours. India was not listed; one outlet estimates about 5:30 a.m. IST on November 19, which is a calculation, not a listing.
Xbox and other caveats
- The listings come from PlayStation Store data. Xbox timing may differ and has not been detailed.
- Store data can change before launch. We will update this page if Rockstar publishes a schedule.
- Playing early by switching region is not a simple trick: reports say account country can't be changed after creation and you'd need a matching payment method. Don't rely on it, and beware of services selling "early access".
