Justice composed GTA 6’s original score, Rockstar confirms
The French electronic duo is behind the game’s dynamic score, alongside the radio stations and the 34-track album arriving on launch day.
Rockstar has confirmed that the French electronic duo Justice composed GTA VI’s original score. The news arrived on October 15, 2026, together with the Launch Trailer and a new single, “Flower in a Hurricane”, which features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Variety, GameSpot and Consequence all report the announcement, which is also on Rockstar’s official music page.
What Rockstar confirmed
| Item | Status |
|---|---|
| Justice (Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay) composed the game’s original dynamic score | Official |
| “Flower in a Hurricane” is the Launch Trailer song, with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard | Official |
| Excerpts of the score were already heard in earlier previews | Reported by outlets |
| A standalone release of the score | Not announced yet |
The score is the music that reacts to what you do on screen. It sits alongside, not instead of, the licensed songs and the six radio stations Rockstar revealed on October 8.
Score vs. album: don’t mix them up
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is a separate project: 34 tracks, released on November 19, 2026 on digital, CD and vinyl. “Flower in a Hurricane” is on it. Rockstar has said more information about the score itself will come separately, so there is no date or tracklist for a Justice score release yet.
What it means
Rockstar has signaled that music is a pillar of the launch campaign, from the trailers to the radio and now a composer-led score. Rewatch the new footage in our Launch Trailer breakdown or see every trailer and its song in the trailers hub.
