The German supermarket chain Edeka advertises GTA VI in its flyer for October 19–24, 2026, with boxed copies on shelves from November 12, a week before the official November 19 release, according to GameStar, GamePro and the Stuttgarter Zeitung. The reported price is €79.99 for the Standard Edition, and not every branch is expected to stock it.
Why a week early?
It is not a street-date break. Per Rockstar Support, the boxed game contains a download code instead of a disc, and pre-load opens on November 12 so players can download before launch. Stores therefore need the boxes a week ahead. Our physical edition guide explains how the code works.
