Several outlets, including Notebookcheck and Mezha, picked up the claim on October 23-24. The game itself is confirmed for November 19, 2026.

How much weight to give it
The date comes from one ResetEra poster, BlackBate, and the only outlet said to have a first-hand date reportedly declined to publish it because it could change. Nothing here has been confirmed by Rockstar or Take-Two, and we have found no critic reviews or scores anywhere. Embargoes are also routinely shifted late in the cycle.
The timing is plausible, though: GTA V’s reviews went live on September 16, 2013, the day before launch. A day-before embargo would also fit our earlier look at whether the game is already gold.

If the rumor holds, you would see the first scores before launch, while pre-load opens on November 12 (see our pre-load and file size guide).
